About the Opportunity
Systems & Network Administration Consultants are experienced IT professionals that work directly with our customers in the field to sell, install and support a wide range of IT solutions in Microsoft and Apple environments (90% Win / 10% OS X). Prospective candidates must be highly professional, charismatic and possess the ability to function both independently and in teams. Like all consulting positions, Systems & Network Administration Consultants will work in very dynamic situations that present new, never before seen technical challenges on a near daily basis. Ideal candidates will welcome these challenges as opportunities to rapidly grow their technical skillset.
Primary Duties
- Provide principal technical support for clients, team members and internal users
- Respond promptly and professionally to technical issues
- Fully document the technical aspects of your client’s systems
- Function as a trusted advisor to your clients
- Regularly suggest systems and process improvements to clients, management and associate team members
Basic Qualifications
- Associates degree with a business or technology focus
- Minimum two years of commercial IT experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and technical judgment
- Strong technology troubleshooting skills
- Strong commitment to professional development and training
- Ability to pass yearly criminal background checks
- Valid drivers license
Preferred Skills
- Five years experience running Microsoft desktop operating systems such as Windows 7, 8, and 10 preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience running Microsoft server operating systems such as Win 2008/2008R2 and 2012 experience preferred.
- Basic experience using and supporting Microsoft Windows software such as recent versions of MS Office.
