The next meeting of FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group, takes place on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 7:00 PM EDT. We hope you can join us in-person or virtually for this hybrid session.
We will gather at Bakery Square in the University of Pittsburgh, Dept. of Rehabilitation Science and Technology Conference Room for those that want to participate live and in living color starting at 6:30 PM. While at Bakery Square, we are required to follow the safety protocols for visitors put in place by the University of Pittsburgh. If you plan to join us at Bakery Square, please select the “In-Person” option when submitting your RSVP below, and someone will contact you regarding the exact requirements.
For those of you in an at-risk category as it relates to COVID-19, or if you are not ready to meet in-person, or if you live well outside the Pittsburgh area, please do not worry. As we meet in-person, we will continue to offer a remote attendance option in case you are unable to make it to Bakery Square for any reason.
The agenda for the evening starts with a presentation from Todd Weller on using FileMaker as both an API consumer and source. As customer needs continue to evolve, it has become necessary to integrate our FileMaker solutions with external data sources using more than just a simple import or export. Todd will walk us through the process he used to figure out how to deliver what the customer requested and also share the resources and tools that helped him on this journey of integrating with an API for the first time.
As is our custom, we will open the floor to general FileMaker discussion at the end of the meeting if time permits so bring your questions. Hopefully, with a room full of FileMaker experts, we’ll have the answers.
You can use the form below to let us know you’ll be there one way or the other. Mark you calendars and make plans to join us!
