The next meeting of FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group, takes place on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 7:00 PM EST. We hope you can join us either in-person or virtually for this hybrid session.
The agenda for December’s meeting includes a Year In Review roundtable discussion. We will focus on the new features introduced with the recent update to Claris FileMaker 2024 (v21.1.1), but the evening is open to discuss all things Claris FileMaker, Claris Connect, and Claris Studio. Did you learn a new technique? Was a new feature exactly what you needed to solve the problem? Where do you see Claris heading in the coming year? We’ll discuss all of these things and more.
Also, in keeping with the holiday spirit, we are going to borrow inspiration from the Claris Beyond user group and hold our first ever Ugly Relationships Diagram contest as part of the evening’s events. To participate, simply come prepared to share a screen shot of a relationship diagram you either inherited or even constructed in the distant past. After a quick review of all submissions, we’ll vote for the winner (or loser depending upon your perspective).
As is our custom, we will open the floor to general Claris FileMaker discussion at the end of the meeting if time permits, so bring your questions. Hopefully, with a room full of Claris FileMaker experts, we’ll have the answers.
As noted above, you have the option join us remotely. If you prefer to meet live and in living color, the Eat’n Park restaurant in Robinson Twp. is now “the place for smiles” and for great FileMaker discussion. If you do attend in-person, you also have the option to join us at 6:00 PM as we share a meal together before the meeting starts.
