For this meeting, we are pleased to welcome Ron Glen Cates of RGC Data to the virtual podium as he walks us through the real‑world system that powers the [ Full Access ] conference. Using a FileMaker back-end and WordPress front‑end, Ron explains how the CWP Snippets plugin bridges the two platforms via the FileMaker Data API. Discover how this architecture delivers instant session schedules, detailed attendee profiles and a custom agenda builder—all in one seamless web experience. Whether you’re building event sites, client portals or any data‑rich application, this session shows how FileMaker can drive sophisticated, dynamic web solutions from start to finish.
Also, in keeping with the holiday spirit, we are going to borrow inspiration from the Claris Beyond user group and hold an Ugly Layout contest as part of the evening’s events. To participate, simply come prepared to share a screen shot of a FileMaker layout you either inherited or even constructed in the distant past. After a quick review of all submissions, we’ll vote for the winner (or loser depending upon your perspective).
As is our custom, we will open the floor to general Claris FileMaker discussion at the end of the meeting if time permits so bring your questions. Hopefully, with a room full of FileMaker experts, we’ll have the answers.
